Monthly Update for March 2015

February is the shortest month of the year, and its February definitely felt like it. We did manage to get a lot of stuff done, but of course there’s always things that are being left for later. Dollar Limit and Dodgy Dingbat both received significant updates.

Fundometer reached 1000 downloads this month.

Another milestone which we reached recently was Fundometer for Android crossing the 1000 download mark (Fundometer for iPhone/iPad reached that late 2014). Personally I’m glad so many people have been able to take advantage of Fundometer and I wish all of you good luck saving up for stuff (still haven’t reached my goal of getting a 3D printer)

One of the things I alluded to in my year-end post was productivity and trying to do more with the time I have.  In spite of a few changes, for example having the whole team use Trello, we still aren’t getting as much done or as quickly as I would like. For example, bug fixes for Fundometer and Dollar Limit, and the new games and apps I haven’t even started working on. I don’t want to promise new great things for the next month or so if I don’t know if I will get to them (at least one new app and game are coming ). So this month, I am going to look at cutting back on things we don’t need. For example, Google Analytics tells me that not a lot of people are reading these posts. The half hour to hour it takes me to write one of these could be better spent better understanding notifications APIs and re-sizing promo banners, and readers could still get updates from the Twitter and Facebook feeds (there is a Twitter widget on the left for example). Again, thank you to all of our users for your support, and remember, we always welcome your feedback, whether it’s in the comments, on social media, or via email.
